MARINAS & QUAYS

Port Alberni's deep sea port, river estuary, 6 marinas, world-class fishing, multiple marine suppliers, shipyards and nearby access to some of the largest and clearest lakes on Vancouver Island are all a testament to how much water is a way of life and one of the city's primary economic drivers.

A community on the water's edge.

Centennial Pier

Centennial Pier is located downtown in the inner harbour at the Harbour Quay. It is used to host visitors from cruise ship tender boats and offers daily, weekly and monthly moorage on the finger floats.

One City, Two Waterfronts

South Port's Harbour Quay and North Port's Victoria Quay are each only a 5-minute drive apart. And they might become even closer: Planning is currently underway to determine the viability of connecting the two Quays via a waterfront boardwalk.
